ReplyDeleteI loved the article, thanks. I can relate, as my 2 and a half year old HAS to wear one when we go out. I wish she wouldn`t, but when I try to convince her not to wear it out in public, her responce is always `like mama`. What can I say!
ReplyDeleteI commend the girl in the article. She is still exploring things, but mashallah she is headstrong, and obviously very self-confident.
As a western woman married to a Libyan man I would hate to see my daughter cover and be subjected to discrimination. Let's be honest our society is too prejudiced no matter what they say about multiculturalism or all the diversity/tolerance PC.
