Today I went to Sheila and had my hair cut. And I had my eyelashes dyed too. I feel like a million bucks now!
Of course Sheila complained that my hair was awful, but Sheila should not have left for so long. Imagine what you look like if your beautician decides she just has to go to America and visit her family - and then stays for over a year! Of course my hair looked like crap - what did she think it would look like? I don't trust anyone else with my hair - I've been trimming it myself all this time. Thank God for hijab - it is amazing what you can hide under a scarf!
Anyway, I walked to Sheila's house. It was a lovely morning and I bought my camera along and took some pictures of the mosque. I also stopped at the book shop and bought a very nice thesaurus. My students will be so excited when I show them the wonders of synonyms this week!
