Delusional dictators

Today I tried to get away from watching the news. Sometimes you need a break. So I checked into the Chive for a laugh.... boy a laugh is pretty useful now and again!

While I was there I found this example of a delusional dictator:

  1. Dear Mrs. Khadija,

It's indeed sarcastic, but probably what we have here is beyond this.

I hope you and your family are safe, take care.

  3. Gadhafi's forces are probing the rebel defenses to establish the battle front and gather intel: where are the rebels, how are they organized, what kind of weapons. They will likely look for a weak point then try to rollup the entire rebel line. The best bet is to utilize gorilla tactics -- hit and run the army check points and patrols. The common army soldier is likely demoralized and just needs a reason to get out of the fight. To win the war you need to break the enemies will to fight.

Gadhafi has done most of this already -- the rebels just need to finish the job. Train together when you are not engaged in battle. Practice your react to contact battle drills and establish small team standard operating procedures. The 9-man squad: composed of two 4-man fire teams and a squad leader will be very effective against dismounted army units. Attack with 3-to-1 odds and be smart about your tactics -- don't run headlong into a heavy machine gun position.
