The search begins...

I sat down this evening and looked at my calendar. It's time to go out to the Great Pumpkin Patch and bring home that one special pumpkin. 


If only it were so easy.... The choice in Libya is pretty limited. It's hard to find one that's orange on the outside....  sigh... but I will try my best.

  1. i didn't realize that the libyans even celebrated halloween , or is it just because you were born an american if you and your family celebrate then happy halloween

  2. Libyans don't celebrate Halloween. It's an American holiday and I like to keep up with some things. Sometimes we have a Halloween party but usually we just have a Jack-o-lantern (provided I can find a suitable one).

  4. one comment about an earlier entery ;things you did not believe are true or even existinlibya.statisticly speaking every thing should be here ,since the population explosion .or even before,the cure by serpent for example .the tabaa ,the spilss and the evil eye...etc.
    the one thing about zanofobia,is prtly not true here in libya,its mainly gelousy at its best and its magnified by womenfolk relave are at the top of the scale;however things are not that bad in general population as awhole is not zenophic or hassidic .some are and they as said earlier at the margin of error but they are close are are heard from oftin.
    ashoura is the equivalet to halloween ,wher ghoyala and people dressed in palm leaves ,holding gindeels[torches] and beeting on make schift drums horang you for sweets and favi beens. and iif you donot give some epithats will be sang at your door.
