organization
I think the garbage collectors in Libya are probably the most organised people in the country! It always amazes me to see how neatly they can stack up all the bags of rubbish in their trucks. I should see about getting my closets as organized - as it is now I can't even close the door on the wardrobe... probably it would be a good idea to get rid of some of my clothes so I have more space.

Salam Sis Khadija, I’m not sure about the message you wanted to pass by this picture and comment!. Actually, the garbage collectors are doing a great job. They are working hard despite the shortage of facilities and lack of cooperation from the public. For example; there is a frequent announcements from the Service company about collection times (09:00 pm – 08:00 am for domestic garbage and Tuesdays and Fridays for home scrape) but most peoples doesn’t pay attention for that. So, you can see rubbish bags and buckets in front of houses and shops during day hours and scrape in all week days. Hopefully, by posting and discussing this will raise some awareness, so we can enhance our environment. Thanks a lot.
ReplyDeleteI always make sure to use a bin - I hate it when people just throw their trash in the street. The area were I live is pretty good about collecting the trash. Once in a while we have problems and the trash piles up, but the biggest problem in Libya are the people who dump trash on the sides of the road.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how they can pile the trash bags in such an organized way in those trucks!
